Forestry England

Forestry England is an agency of the Forestry Commission, responsible for the management of publicly owned forests and woodlands in England. It operates under the Forestry Commission, which is a Non-Ministerial Government Department responsible for forestry policy, regulation, and the management of public forests across the UK. It manages over 1,500 woodlands, promotes their recreational use, and works to conserve and expand these forests for environmental and economic benefit.
